IPSB handsClinical Studies Program coming soon!

Many of our students have requested an opportunity to work on the public before going out into the world of professional massage.  We are currently working on the curriculum for our new Clinical Studies program.  This course will help you gain confidence in your work, expose you to many types of clients with different needs, and you will have the opportunity to discuss specific client treatment options with the course instructor.  This class will consist of clinic hours worked at the IPSB Student Clinic at Bodywork Emporium and is open to all IPSB 150 Hour Massage Technician Program graduates.  If you would like to be contacted about this program, please email massage@ipsb.com and include Clinical Studies in the subject line.
Japanese Cranial teacherCranial in Japanese
with Kyoko Hayashi

For the first time ever, we are offering Cranial I taught in Japanese!  Kyoko Hayashi, a graduate of Polarity Healing Arts's teacher training program, will be the instructor for this very special class.  Kyoko is from Kobe, Japan, where she teaches at The Energy Open Center and is a practicing therapist.  This is a great opportunity for Japanese speaking students to learn in their own language and gain the skills taught in Cranial I.  There is no prerequisite for this class, so pass the word along to your Japanese speaking friends looking to break into the amazing world of Craniosacral Unwinding!

We are excited to offer a second level Business for Bodyworkers course!  Learn to build a successful practice by using an entrepreneurial and prosperous approach.  You will develop success strategies for creating your business reality through specialized branding, marketing, presentation, body language and your mindset!  You will also leave with a specific plan of action.  There will be an opportunity to discuss any challenges you may have encountered as you began to start and expand your massage business.

All Business for Bodyworkers I classes in 2007 were given homework to prepare for the second level.  If you attended Business for Bodyworkers I prior to 2007, please contact Lisa at lmalik@lisamalik.com to obtain the materials.
