Integrative Craniosacral Unwinding Program
489 HOURS
The Integrative Craniosacral Unwinding Program teaches treatment for the cerebrospinal fluid, autonomic nervous sytem, and connective tissue system. The program includes classical, contemporary and esoteric craniosacral techniques. Students learn how to create a relationship that is non-invasive and client centered, holding space for the client's innate healing process.
IPSB at Life Energy Institute has offered this leading Craniosacral training in California since 1983!

William Garner Sutherland, D.O. (1873–1954)
was an American osteopathic physician and important figure in American osteopathic medicine. Several of his manual therapy techniques are still practiced today by practitioners of osteopathic medicine. Sutherland was the first osteopathic physician to conceptualize the cranial approach and teach it systematically.
However, Sutherland acknowledged Andrew Taylor Still as the developer of all osteopathy, including the cranial approach. Sutherland was the first person to claim to feel a rhythmic shape change in the bones of the cranium. He later applied this movement to all body tissues and this movement is the agent of change in dysfunctional tissues. He later named this motion the body's "Primary Respiration."

“Craniosacral work is the Rolls Royce of bodywork.”
- John Beaulieu, ND, Ph.D.

Craniosacral work is a complimentary adjunctive therapy to any other modality, on the tissue or at a fluidic or energetic level. It teaches the practitioner how to use their palpation skills, to become present in their hands, and to get into harmony, resonance and rapport with the fluidic nature of the body. It also teaches through treatment of the connective tissue system throughout the body, from the tip of the toes to the top of the head.
Classes are open to new practitioners in addition to those currently practicing, such as: massage therapists, bodyworkers, chiropractors, doctors, nurses, acupuncturists and any other body-mind-spirit healing practitioners.
