The California Massage Therapy Council has chosen to honor

Dr. Jeff Forman's career in massage and service on the Board with a $5,000 Scholarship to a promising student in the field of massage.

It was with great sadness that CAMTC announced the passing of Board member Dr. Jeff Forman in February, 2025. Dr. Forman was appointed to the Board in 2014 and was later elected Vice Chair and then Chair of CAMTC. Dr. Forman was a noted therapist, instructor, continuing education provider, volunteer, and overall champion for the massage profession. He started the first community college  massage program in the State and ran that program for 25 years.

His decades of experience and energy, along with his unique

perspective and Boston accent, will always be missed.

Application for the Dr. Jeff Forman Memorial Scholarship is open to any U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident who is 18 years of age or older and who is either currently enrolled in a CAMTC-approved massage program at the time they apply, or who, after applying, notifies CAMTC at scholarship@camtc.org no later than May 22, 2025, with proof that they have been accepted to or enrolled in a CAMTC-approved massage program that begins no later than September 30, 2025.

CAMTC encourages all CAMTC Approved Schools and interested parties to share this scholarship information with potential applicants.

$2,500 Scholarships

Congratulations on adventuring into a career in massage therapy! As the nation's leading provider of massages across its franchise network of approximately 1,100 independently owned and operated franchised locations, the Massage Envy brand is deeply committed to the growth and support of future massage therapists. The Massage Envy National Scholarship Sweepstakes for Massage Therapists will provide 128 winners with $2,500 each to help fund their education in massage therapy school over 16 drawings.

$5,000 Scholarships

One student a quarter will receive a $5,000 scholarship with a corresponding scholarship going to the school they are attending.

Sweepstakes Period: Each Sweepstakes Period lasts three (3) months. The Sweepstakes Periods are:

• January 1 at 12:00 AM MT through March 31 at 11:59 PM MT;

• April 1 at 12:00 AM MT through June 30 at 11:59 PM MT; 

• July 1 at 12:00 AM MT through September 30 at 11:59 PM MT;

• October 1 at 12:00 AM MT through December 31 at 11:59 PM MT

$5,000 Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled or admitted in a 500-hour minimum, entry-level massage therapy program at the time the scholarship application is submitted.

Course & Program Scholarships

Scholarships, and programs to support students to train with our school to become Polarity & Craniosacral practitioners, teachers, and entrepreneurs.

The MBLExGuide Scholarship offers $1,000 to students currently enrolled in an approved entry-level massage therapy program in the United States. This scholarship is particularly appealing because it requires applicants to create a 1-page study guide on a topic relevant to massage therapy, making it both an educational and rewarding experience. The deadline for this scholarship is December 31, 2024. 

This scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of key concepts while also contributing to the broader educational community. Not only does this scholarship provide financial assistance, but it also encourages active learning and engagement with the material.
