Sabrina Ortolano

Sabrina trained at IPSB in 2003, joined the administrative team for a while shortly after and started teaching in 2005. She has a massage practice, Moon Cycle Arts, that focuses on both the child bearing years (pre and post natal bodywork and support), birth doula services (since the mid 90s) and 

 

In 2009 she launched what she thought would be a side gig making soap and body care products, it turned into a full time job as the company COO. The company was eventually sold and the products she helped develop are still sold in every state in the country and exported to several others. In 2014, with Cyndi’s cancer diagnosis, she stepped down from her position as COO and took a break from working for a couple years to be Cyndi’s full time caregiver.

 

She returned to teaching in 2016 and then stepped into being the director to help the previous owners navigate the pandemic in 2020. She is honored to be able to be able to step into ownership of IPSB in 2023 as the IPSB community has been the central, grounding touchstone of her life since 2003, she knows intimately the power and beauty of the style of bodywork IPSB brings to the world and has a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of the community of people who are drawn to do this work.
