Cyndi Ortolano
Cyndi is one of the owners of the school, as the Chief Academic Officer she oversees curriculum and is one of the core advanced teachers. You'll see her in the Deep Tissue classes as well as many of our advanced electives.
Cyndi trained at IPSB in 1995 and started teaching a few years later. Other than a break to recover from cancer she has been a part of the IPSB teaching staff and administration for nearly three decades.
She is passionate about the work we do here and strives to cultivate continuity for our teaching staff so that while keeping the materials up to date with current information the program holds true to the core of our philosphy and focus.
She founded the volunteer program as an outpouring of her belief that we should share our work with our broader community and that mutual aid/volunteer work is a key component in a healthy community. She regularly works with alumni in tutorials to support their continued growth while refining their body mechanics to ensure they are protecting their hands/shoulders/backs as a part of her on-going commitment to our alumni community.
